個人簡介
彭也博士是一位專注於腸道微生物群在早期生命健康與疾病中角色的微生物群科學家。他在香港大學完成博士學位,並在香港中文大學接受博士後培訓,他的隊列研究揭示了圍產期暴露如何塑造腸道微生物群的發展並影響兒童肥胖、食物敏感,對疫苗的免疫反應以及對抗抗生素耐藥性細菌的定植抵抗力。彭博士的跨學科研究結合了多組學、流行病學和機器學習,以推進微生物群科學並抗擊抗生素耐藥性。他的長期願景是明確定義「健康的微生物群」,並將發現轉化為個性化療法,以改善從兒童到老齡人口的健康。
