On 30 - 31 July 2024, the School of Public Health & Primary Care (JCSPHPC) will host a Summer Workshop for candidates interested in applying for admission to our PhD programme in Public Health via the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme.

Last year, we launched our first event by offering a two-day summer workshop for the applicants. As of today*, six candidates from the Summer Workshop have been successfully admitted to our full-time PhD programme in the academic year of 2024-25.
We are excited to announce that we will host our HKPFS Summer Workshop again this year on 30 – 31 July 2024.
In the workshop, we will introduce the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme and our postgraduate programmes. Students will have an opportunity to meet with our professors (your prospective supervisors) to understand more about our work. We will also cover our graduates’ career prospect, have a sharing time with alumni and provide application tips and guidelines. Finally, we will offer an admission interview before we end the workshop.
You are strongly encouraged to participate in this event to increase your readiness in pursuing your research or academic career in public health and primary care.
Available quota is limited, please complete a free online application by 11 June 2024 (5:00 pm HKT). Based on our School’s selection criteria, we will inform the selected applicants by mid-June 2024.
