個人簡介

熊教授在完成實習後從事了麻醉科醫生的工作，在從醫後的工作生涯中，他推動了香港疼痛醫學的發展，並在擔任香港麻醉師學院院長期間開辦了疼痛醫學培訓項目。

 

2005年，在從事麻醉和疼痛治療管理工作二十多年後，熊教授把行政醫學作為自己第二職業。2005年至2013年，他曾任伊利沙伯醫院醫院行政總裁及醫院管理局九龍中聯網行政總監。他在2014年至2016年底從醫院管理局退休前，曾任威爾斯親王醫院及新界東聯網行政總監。

 

熊教授在學術方面有廣泛的興趣，尤其是在質量和安全促進、運營管理、企業文化及模擬仿真這些方面。同時，他對醫生的教育和培訓也很感興趣，並曾於2004年12月至2011年12月擔任香港醫學專科學院副院長（教育及考試）。他自2019年2月起任澳門醫學專科學院理事會主席。熊教授亦於2012年12月獲香港醫學科學院榮譽院士；並於2015年11月獲香港麻醉師學院榮譽院士。
