个人简介

熊教授在完成实习后从事了麻醉科医生的工作，在从医后的工作生涯中，他推动了香港疼痛医学的发展，并在担任香港麻醉师学院院长期间开办了疼痛医学培训项目。

 

2005年，在从事麻醉和疼痛治疗管理工作二十多年后，熊教授把行政医学作为自己第二职业。2005年至2013年，他曾任伊利沙伯医院医院行政总裁及医院管理局九龙中联网行政总裁。他在2014年至2016年底从医院管理局退休前，曾任威尔斯亲王医院及新界东联网行政总裁。

 

熊教授在学术方面有广泛的兴趣，尤其是在质量和安全促进、运营管理、企业文化及模拟仿真这些方面。同时，他对医生的教育和培训也很感兴趣，并曾于2004年12月至2011年12月担任香港医学专科学院副院长（教育及考试）。他自2019年2月起任澳门医学专科学院理事会主席。熊教授亦于2012年12月获香港医学科学院荣誉院士；并于2015年11月获香港麻醉师学院荣誉院士。
