The JC School of Public Health and Primary Care is pleased to announce the launch of Career Compass 2026, a series of professional development activities taking place in March 2026. This initiative is designed to equip our students and graduates with the knowledge, networks, and insights needed to navigate the evolving professional landscape.
Throughout the week of 24–28 March 2026, representatives from employers and alumni will share first‑hand perspectives on career pathways across four major sectors: Non‑Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Academia, the Private Sector, and the Public Sector. These career talks will provide valuable exposure to diverse workplace environments.
Hear from Dr Kit Chi LAI and Mr Kenny CHIU as they share their invaluable experiences in the NGO sector; Mr Dicky CHOW and Prof. Kin Fai HO in Academia; Dr Yat CHOW, Ms Kammy LEUNG, and Ms Candice NG in the Private Sector; as well as Dr Paul Kwok Ming POON and Dr Chin Man POON in the Public Sector.
The series will conclude with a weekend networking session, bringing together academic staff, students and graduates, employers, and professionals for open exchange, dialogue, and community building.
All events are free of charge and open for in‑person participation only. Students and alumni are most welcome to join!
Registration is extended to 11 March 2026 (Wednesday). Participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their place.
