Bio

Ms. Harmony Lai obtained a Master of Guidance and Counselling from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. She is a member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association.

Ms. Lai is a counsellor with extensive experience supporting diverse populations, including older adults coping with psychological challenges associated with chronic health conditions, as well as young individuals on the autism spectrum. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based psychological interventions, and she is committed to promoting mental health awareness and enhancing service accessibility within the community. She was previously involved in a community-based chronic pain management project with the interdisciplinary team at the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care. Ms. Lai has held academic appointments at local universities, where she has served as a practicum supervisor and delivered courses in fields such as psychology, gerontology, mental health, and social services. She has also provided fieldwork supervision to undergraduate students in practicum placements across diverse healthcare and community settings.
