Updated: Dec 16, 2023

Prof WONG Tze Wai, Adjunct Professor, The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at CU Medicine, received the honour of being ranked as 81st in the field of Environmental & Occupational Health in the list of “Updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators” complied by Standford University. The list was released in early October 2023. Professor Wong has also been listed among world’s top 2% scientists 2023. The result reflects that he is internationally recognised and has demonstrated significant research excellence over the past year.

Created by the research team led by Professor John Ioannidis, the “Updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators” is a database of more than 100,000 top scientists across the world on the basis of standardised citation indicators. They were grouped into 22 subject fields and 174 sub-fields using the indicators. The indicators included information on citations, an individual’s scientific research output, co-authorship and a composite indicator for career-long citation impact up to the end of 2022.

We congratulate Prof Wong for his outstanding work and commitment towards excellent research.
