Director of Fujian Province Health Commission Yang Minhong visited JC School of Public Health and Primary Care on 29 June 2023 and held a meeting with Director of the School, Professor Samuel Wong, and members of the School, including Professor Emily YY Chan, Professor Shelly Tse and members of the Collaborating Centre for Oxford University & CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) team. Prof Wong introduced to Director Yang the School’s teaching and research, while Prof Chan, Director of CCOUC, and Prof Tse, Director of Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health Studies (COEHS), presented the works of their respective centres. The two sides also had exchange about public health education in the two places and expressed interests in further collaboration in the future. Director Yang also had a brief tour of the School and CCOUC after the meeting.
