Presentation Abstract
Innovation Science is an emerging multidisciplinary field that examines innovation processes in technology, natural sciences and social sciences. Traditionally considered a domain of management sciences, Innovation Science explores how new ideas and practices are developed and the technological and social factors that influence adoption. Originating from science and technology policy, this field is now utilized in entrepreneurship, technology management and social sciences. Professor Gupta will give an overview of Innovation Science theories, processes and impacts with examples drawn from various fields to illustrate the application towards public health. The ideas presented in this talk aim to encourage cross-disciplinary thinking about health innovation.
About the Speaker
