个人简介

彭也博士是一位专注于肠道微生物群在早期生命健康与疾病中角色的微生物群科学家。他在香港大学完成博士学位,并在香港中文大学接受博士后培训,他的队列研究揭示了围产期暴露如何塑造肠道微生物群的发展并影响儿童肥胖、食物敏感,对疫苗的免疫反应以及对抗抗生素耐药性细菌的定植抵抗力。彭博士的跨学科研究结合了多组学、流行病学和机器学习,以推进微生物群科学并抗击抗生素耐药性。他的长期愿景是明确定义「健康的微生物群」,并将发现转化为个性化疗法,以改善从儿童到老龄人口的健康。
