Established under The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care (JCSPHPC), The Center for Clinical Research and Biostatistics (CCRB) was honoured with two gold awards and a special award in the 49th International Exhibition of Invention Geneva in 2024.
Organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission, the Reception for Innovation and Technology Awards 2024 was held on 15 July. Led by Prof Benny Zee, Director of CCRB, representatives from CCRB attended the event to showcase their award-winning project titled “AI Retinal Image Analysis for the Risk of Autism (ASD) and GDD in Preschooler”. This event was themed "Hong Kong's Innovation and Technology Achievements Shine in International Arena”, gathering over 300 representatives of the local innovation and technology community, including renowned academics, scientists, and representatives of institutes and government officials. They were commended for their collective efforts in bringing international attention to Hong Kong's significant contributions in the fields of innovation and technology.
